    Fertility monitors and ovulation tests look for luteinizing hormone. There is another test, I believe by First Response, that looks for follicle stimulating hormone. If these tests never detect their respective hormones then there could be a fertility issue.

    There is actually a fertility monitor on the market that tracks a lot of detailed information about your cycle just by taking your BBT every morning and entering menstruation data. It is able to monitor your cycle and indicate luteal phase/hormone issues as well as ovulation issues.

    Only a doctor can accurately diagnose infertility. Since you only have about 5 more years (and every year that goes by that you don’t conceive, your chances decrease) if you really do want another child, now is the time to see a fertility specialist. There would be no reason for fertility to disappear unless you had had some sort of pelvic infection or started menopause early. You obviously were fertile since you have been pregnant twice. Inability to carry a pregnancy to term is not any indication of fertility.
