I had this done back in December. They don’t want you to have sex before in case of possibly pregnancy. I was told the same thing but it was explained to me.
You know they say that often times there can be a very small blockage that isn’t seen, but once the dye is injected it knocks it out. My doctor said that many women get pregnant within 3 months of having the test. My hubby and I just found out we’re expecting! Best of luck to you and lots of baby dust.

It is not recommended to have sex for a few days prior to the test. And also after the test you should wait a few days before resuming intercourse.
