My husband and I were diagnosed with unexplained infertility.
We still sought help from a fertility clinic / RE even though they could not find anything medically wrong after loads of blood work, hsg to check the tubes, semen analysis etc . . .
We started with Clomid - even though I ovulated on my own - they were hoping that it would give my cycle a bit of a boost and we also tried IUI in the hopes that we would get lucky if the sperm did not have to travel as far . . . when that did not work, we tried injectibles. The injectibles over-stimulated my ovaries, caused multiple eggs to develop and release so as to increase my chances for success. More eggs meant more targets for the sperm . . . still no luck. We then moved onto IVF and were blessed with our twins on the first cycle. They will be 1 in a week.
It took about a year after we gave up trying on our own - all of the testing, 4 cycles of Clomid - 3 with IUI, 3 cycles injectibles with IUI and then IVF. In total, it was about 2 1/2 years to 3 years if you factor in the time we spent trying without medical assistance.
Just because they cannot find anything wrong with initial testing does not mean that they cannot treat you, give you options, try medications and fertility treatments.

My sister has it, she has had 2 lots of IVF and still no luck, she has been trying for around 10 years. There is no treatment.
EDIT: Yes they can give you IVF and clomid, which is part of the IVF process, which is EXACTLY what i said!!!
