Suffering from PCOS and infertility is the hardest think I’ve ever had to face in my life.
On top of that, I also only have one "good" tube after suffering an ectopic during my first and only pregnancy.
There was never, and still is nothing more, I’d rather be than a mother.
I know it sounds easier than it is, but really, try to remain optimistic and hopeful, hope carries you through the hardest times, and there will be very difficult moments. Even if you aren’t a spiritual person (I myself don’t believe in religion, but highly believe in a greater power) trust that the Universe has a way of unfolding each of our lives….
As you know, having already tried for 3 years, it is emotionally and mentally draining to not succeed and to "fail".
As with most things in life, I believe that positivity is the key. You just have to be strong and believe that your turn WILL come! As hard as it is, concentrate on the idea that all this hardwork and heartache WILL pay off instead of worrying about what didn’t happen, what you did or didn’t do right.
Are you uncomfortable taking Clomid? Did you ovulate with it the first cycle?
I took it for 5 months, and Ovulated 4/5 times with no pregnancy achieved. Although I’ve decided that Clomid isn’t the right direction for me, it has helped many women achieve conception, and has great success rates. Just Google it and there are milltions of stories.
Another route, which I’m about to embark on, is a natural one. I’m going to meet with a Naturopath next week to see what we can do in a less intrusive manner.
My Fertility Specialist seems to just want to throw Clomid at me and send me out the door, I feel a Naturopath will get to the root of MY PCOS and not categorize me the same as all other PCOS patients.
Anyhow hun, I know it is deeply heart wrenching, and unfair, confusting, frustrating, hurtful, and just plain hard to get through these times… but it HAS to pay off, as long as you believe that it will.
    Baby Dust 2 u!
