I had my test in March and I found out my results right then. The radiologist sat me up and walked me through the x-rays. My right tube was initially blocked at the beginning of the test but the dye itself dislodged the blockage and it opened right up after that. I know that depending on the amount of blockage surgery can help but if it is too bad they will recommend IVF which avoids the tubes all together. Best wishes!!!
I wanted to add that my doctor called me that afternoon to go over what the radiologist told me and to see if I had any questions.
Depends on your specialist. Mine told me the results as soon as the test was done. Some may make you wait.
If there is a blockage, they may be able to clear it surgically, depending on the cause of the blockage.
For some people, the pressure of the dye will clear a minor blockage, and they’ll conceive soon after the procedure

i had one done about 4months ago im sorry to say but it really hurt me, they didnt tell me until i went back to my guy, ended up both of my f-tubes where blocked so thats why mine really hurt! so after getting my results i hat to go back for a op called a lap n dye to unblock them it worked but still ttc x hope it helped x
