Clomid is rather cheap even without an insurance, I’ve filled my prescription in Walmart, cost me around $16 for 25 mg tablets. My cousin, though is not prescribed clomid and wants a child desperately, so she forced to buy clomid online without a prescription. It comes up as much as 60 dollars for a cycle, she uses UK http://www.pharmacynextdoor.com

my insurance doesn’t pay for infertility drugs either. I paid 19$ for clomid this last month. But i had a coupon for CVS for new prescriptions and got a 25$ gift card so i actually made 6 bucks! not too bad but hopefully it works.

My insurance covers fertility treatments and I just pay the co-pays, but I looked at my receipts and this is what it says:

    clomid 50mg for 5 days (5 capsules): $15.99
    Ovridel (trigger shot): $45
    Follistum 250iu cartridge (injectables): $250
    Prometrium 46 capsules (progesterone): $266.16

Hopes this helps or give you an idea!

If you are taking Clomid, you may also need to take other fertility drugs in combination as well, as evidenced by the CVS receipt in an earlier answer.

All these costs are tax deductible if your insurance does not cover the cost. But you won’t see any deductible savings until these costs reach 7.5% of your adjusted gross income if you deduct them on your 1040 form.

You may find the best tax savings by paying at the pharmacy with funds from your flexible spending account. Pre-tax dollars cut your costs by 1/3 or more depending on your income range, and you get savings on the very first dollars you spend.

You may also consider checking the information found on this site. ;)

I find this one helpful to me since we do have the same case.
You can see here a comprehensive list of health insurance companies which will
cover for your meds, I will definitely recommend this one as your reference.

You can choose from here which is the cheapest, I can’t give any additional information
since insurance rates increase annually as how i observe it :)

I hope this one helps you out!
    Goodluck :)

Clomid is pretty cheap. I got my prescription filled at WalMart and it was only like $14. Other fertility drugs can be very expensive however. The Drugs for my IVF cycle totaled about $2500. This included Lupron, Follistim, PIO shots and Prometrium.
