My tubes are blocked as well. There are several options available to you.

    1. Surgery. This works sometimes and depends on where the blockage is located. It works best when the blockage is close to uterus.

    2. IVF. This is your best bet but is very expensive. Still, it can have like a 50% success rate at some clinics. Most of them charge at least $12,000 for 1 cycle!

    3. Chinese herbs. This is worth giving it a shot. A full 70% of couples conceive using this method in China and in a few European studies.

I’m sorry to hear this. I was told too that both of my tubes were blocked, so I know how you’re feeling.

    You have a few options…

    1) Repeat the dye test. Sometimes the tubes aren’t blocked, but rather they are in a spasm. A spasm can appear to be a block when it’s not. I strongly suggest a second opinion.

    2) A laparoscopy is often used to unblock tubes. Talk to your doctor to see if you are a candidate for this.

    3) IVF. In-vitro fertlization was created originally for women with blocked tubes. It’s an excellent option if it’s within your means to do so and if blocked tubes are your only fertility issue, there’s a good chance you’ll conceive on the first try.

    Good luck to you.
