I would go to your OBGYN specialist who knows more then a family dr. would on this topic. I as well was not diagnosed with anything, I just don’t ovulate on my own so my dr. ran some blood work and an ultrasound on me that showed nothing more then some cysts on my ovaries but nothing to worry about she said.
She put me on Provera to induce a period and then Clomid to make me ovulate, if you have insurance, I paid nothing more the the co-payments and then for the 2 prescriptions it was only $35. I as well as you thought it was going to be like $100-$200 but we were willing to pay it to conceive. But to my surprise it was cheap.
Good luck in your journey~ Lots of baby dust*************

I was afraid of the expenses as you are. I also have a healthy background and my dr did not think I was going to have problems coincieving but after almost 2 years my husband and I decided to go for treatment. The treatment at the beginning is not expensive. You may first need an HSG (Xray) and your husband a semen analisis. Don’t be afraid of starting the diagnosis.

Me and my wife tried to get the child over one year without any result. We went to the doctor and after the the basic procedures my semen was analyzed. The result is that I have none normally shaped sperms. Expenses so far have been very low. At least now we know what is the reason of our fertility problems.
