It can be very painful and uncomfortable. Added to that the problem of you lying there uncovered while several other people are doing there work is very unpleasant. After wards you will slowly recover though and after a short time, say 2-3 weeks, it will all seem as though it happened in the past.

a regular x-ray is nothing; you lay down or sit or stand and something is pressed close to your body. It is completely non-invasive and totally painless, I promise.

The other kind of x-ray they may try is an ultrasound. Again, totally painless, unless you already have pain in the area and it is tender when pressure is put on it. By the sounds of it, that would be painless.

The worst test that you may be subjected to is an MRI. That’s the one with the tunnel thing. The only pain you feel from that is when you are injected with dye, so that they can track it through the machine. Just don’t watch the needle, and you will be fine. I don’t think that they would be using an MRI for that anyway; my best assumption would be the ultrasound.

As far as unblocking goes if it is, you would be put under general anesthetic for the procedure. The only pain you would feel, and if you ask for numbing cream, you won’t feel it anyway, is of a small drip being inserted to give you the GA. When you wake, there will probably be a dull pain for a while, but nothing very dramatic I’ll assume. From experience, once the needle is out, the pain is gone.

I hope this eases your worries at least somewhat. I think you’ll be fine =) No matter what

I hope this has helped ease
