The only way to know if your fertility has been affected isto have your fallopian tubes tested for patency. It’s unlikely that the NHS will do this unless you have been trying to get pregnant and have failed to conceive.
When you are ready to try for a baby if you don’t get pregnant with a year go to your doctor and insist on referral to a specialist. Don’t be fobbed off, don’t agree to keep trying any longer.

The tubal blockage causes infertility. U can’t do anything to prevevt it but it can be cured , u have to undergo tests for tubal patency which will decide the issue.

-You should use Doxycycline 100 mg 1 capsule x twice a day x at least 5 days
    - Prevention to re-infection is important
-Only when infection for a long time , the patient ’s tubals will be obstructed and that becomes the cause of fertility
-you should go to a gynecologist to be done a HSG Hystero-Salpingo-Graphy to check it, If there is obstruction of your both tubals it must be surgerry to release your tubals. [f only 1 tubal has been obstructed, you can give birth normal.Good luck!

There is a chance that it could of. It depends how long you’ve had it.

Chlamydia causes the fallopian tubes to close (due to liquid) If only one has been effected, then you will still be fertile, but it might be hard to get pregnant. If both are, then depending how long you’ve had it, it may be possible to open them up with an operation. Or if the operation isn’t possible, it would have to be IVF treatment.

You should ask to get checked for this.

Infertility is more often a result of pelvic inflammatory disease. Chlamydia can cause PID, but chlamydia very often carried by women without symptoms and without consequence. If you never had fever or abdominal pain, you probably didn’t have a severe bout of PID. If I were to guess, I would say your chances of having decreased fertility are very low.

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse and i can tell you that your chances of this problem depend on how long you had before it was discovered. You don’t always get pain in the earlier stages. If it was caught early you have a good chance of not becoming infertile

Well since you’ve had it such a long time, there is a possibility your fallopian tubes could be scarred.

I’m assuming your dr. has put you on antibiotics (and your partner) so that will clear up the bacteria.

The only way you’ll know for certain (other than getting pregnant) — is to have dye shot into your fallopian tubes to check for blockages.

I hope everything works out well for you.

it really does depend on how long you have had it for I’m afraid Sweety. the best advise i can give you is to go and see your GP with your partner to discuss this in full. you could always go to your local family planning doctor as well as they can advise you better than i can hunny. I’m so sorry your having to go through this sweety. if you and your partner have no children they you may be entitled to IVF on the nhs. i do know that you have to qualify for treatment as my sister is went through the procedure recently. she was 39 and they told her she was too old to have it on the nhs,but she paid privately with her local private hospital in wales. she unfortunately was not successful as she had 2 ectopic pregnancy’s as she was found to have a rare blood condition that unfortunately kills the baby. really do wish you the best of luck sweety, and hope you both get the chance to have your own little family. take care sweety. and keep us posted how you get on. xx

to increase your fertility you should take 3 eggs, beat them well, put them in your ears and bounce around on your head until the egg mixture runs out of your nose. when this happens, collect the mixture in a bowl, mix it with 15ml of semen from a goat, put it in the kettle and boil for 25 minutes. take this delicious looking food, season with rosemary and feed it to your parents. this is the best way to solve your problem. I promise it will work.

chlamydia can lay dormant for many years inside you so you may have had it all along or indeed your partner. Only a fertility doctor can be of help to test you properly, if you haven’t fallen pregnant and aren’t using contraception that would be a sign. My friend found out at 19 she couldn’t have children naturally because of chlamydia and now 5 years later is waiting to have a tube taken out because of the recurring infection. I hope and pray you are okay.
