The follicles prepare you for ovulation. Have several shows that you are ovulating and that there is probably an egg in one that will be released shortly. Good luck and sending baby dust.

to my understanding a folical is where the ovum is released from and when you do become pregnant, the folical that has produced the egg turns into a cyst where the pregnancy hormome excrets from…..

The follicles are what the egg bursts from when you ovulate.

I also have PCOS. I had many, many, MANY ultrasounds before having my beautiful baby boy 7 months ago. Follicles are what produce the egg that will one day produce your beautiful baby. Don’t worry if you don’t have a ton of them; I took medicine that helped me produce them. With any luck, you will be able to have a healthy baby also, although be prepared to go through many utlrasounds and blood tests before it is all said and done (it is 1000% worth it! You will agree the first time you hold your baby). I remember seeing my follicles on an ultrasound right before I got pregnant and then later realizing that one of those follicles produced my baby. It was awesome… you have a chance a lot of people don’t have… seeing your baby prior to conception! Take advantage and don’t get discouraged!! It will happen when it was meant to.
