I agree…it’s going to be much less than 5% (since you want numbers).

Ovulation USUALLY happens somewhere around 2 weeks before you start your next period, so if you have short cycles, then it’s more possible you would ovulate much sooner after AF than later. If you ovulate within the first week or so of AF starting, then your chances of PGcy would be higher than someone who O’s at a ‘normal/average’ time in her cycle…however, Oing too early in your cycle can also decrease the chance of pregnancy because the egg hasn’t had enough chance to fully mature, so that in itself further decreases the risk of pregnancy. Sperm does usually live the average 2-3 days with good CM present, but during AF you would have menstrual fluid which is cleaning out the uterus and are estrogen dominated rather than progesterone dominated which is what you need for a PGcy, so again, the chances are further decreased.

I can’t give you a %…. but if you have sex at the beginning of your period, then chances of you getting pregnant are slim to none.
Ovulation should not be occuring during your period.
Some women might ovulate a couple days after their period though.
Your best bet to getting pregnant is to know when you’re ovulating.
If you have a regular cycle, then it should be easy to figure out when you’re ovulating by using opks. You’ll get a positive opk about 12-36 hours before ovulation occurs. So once you get a +, have sex asap.
