Hi i had an hsg done to see if that was why i wasn’t concieving it looked like my left tube was blocked from that (they inserted dye into my tubes and watch on a screen to see if comes out the tubes) so my gyn said he wanted me to have a laposcopy which is where they insert a needle through the belly button and also insert a camera and a light to check things out further and they do the same process bu the dye is pushed through with more force so it can unblock your tube. Mine turned out not to be blocked anyway. They give you an anestetic so you sleep through the lap. With the hsg you are awake and advised to take a couple of painkillers before they do it. You will like period cramps after the hsg and maybe a bleed i did. After the lap it didnt hurt at all i was home same day.

It’s best to wait and see if there is a problem first it’s not always that the tubes are blocked simple things like stress and trying to hard can actually prevent conception try relaxing and getting on with your day to day life until you get the results.

It depends whats blocking them. If it is a tumor or growth they may cut it out or use em waves to break it up so it can hopefully move out on its own. It could be a tissue nearby that was hurt and it swelled pressing against the tube, in that case you would need to wait until it heals so the swelling can go down…

if yuor tubes are blocked they normally try to unblock them there and then by inserting more dye, if that doesnt help i think it would have to be done via a lap and dye

    good luck xx
