  1. 2fast4u Says:

When the tubes which serve as passage way for eggs to travel from the ovaries to the uterus or womb get blocked and so prevent the egg from getting into the womb or the sperm from reaching the egg.
Commonest cause of blocked tubes is chronic urinary tract infections, chronic pelvic inflammation or infact any long standing pelvic infection, both viral and bacterial.
Treatment is by surgery (tuboplasty) in which the blocked part is cut off and the remaining ends of the tube joined back together, or tubal insufflation in which the tubes are blown open.
Needless to add is the fact that the best cure is prevention of pelvic infections.

its the tube that the egg goes down to ponentially get you pregnant. You could still get pregnant as there is a right and left tube. or you could try IVF to bypass the tubes if you want to get pregnant but both are blocked.

Scar tissue makes tubes blocked…the number one cause of PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) is chlamydia. This causes scarring.
