One Response to “What are all these Medications that I have been reading about for fertility?”

Unless you have a known issue such as you are not ovulating, low sperm count, blocked tubes etc . . . most doctors recommend that you try on your own for a year if you are under 35 and 6 months if you are over.

There are loads of fertility meds and treatments - drugs like Clomid, Femera, Gonal F injections etc . . . that can help with ovulation and hormone levels, HCG shots which can help the egg to finish maturing and release, treatments like IUI where they use a catheter to insert the sperm, IVF where they remove the egg and sperm and try to bring about fertilization in the lab. There are loads of options, it is about seeing the right doctor and finding the right treatment plan for your specific situation.

    Best wishes.
