It's unlikely that a miscarriage would cause tubal damage, but her tubes may have been damaged prior to her latest pregnancy.

The procedure to check the fallopian tubes is called a hysterosalpingogram (HSG for short). It is an X-ray of the uterus and fallopian tubes which allows visualization of the inside of the uterus and tubes. The picture will reveal any abnormalities of the uterus as well as tubal problems such as blockage and dilation (hydrosalpinx).

I had one done (I do have one partially blocked tube) and it wasn't too bad. Not the most comfortable thing in the whole world, but alright.

I am actually going to go and have that checked soon also. They have to inject her with dye(unharmful) and do a sonogram on her to see where thhe dye will flow. trust me its harmless and doesnt hurt. I have the greatest doc in the world. Dont think she'd lie
