If your tubes are completely blocked and cannot be repaired, then I don't know of any way that your eggs could be fertilized in your body. IVF is probably your only solution.
As Sarah Jane said, if there is full and complete blockage in both tubes, IVF would be the only possible answer. However, if there is some blockage you could have an HSG test which might clear some of the obstruction. It would also give you a good idea of the extent of the blockage.
both of my tubes was blocked but i had them unblocked 2weeks ago, iwas told my only chane was ivf and they said i needed my right tube removed but a different doc 'who was going to do my op said he wod try to unblock them and did
If your tubes are completely blocked then IVF is your only option for a pregnancy. If the tubes are blocked then the egg will not be able to meet the sperm. It will just stay in the tube at the blockage and die. So if they are completely blocked (both of them) then there wouldn't be a chance of conception. IVF completely bypasses the tubes. They give you medications so your ovaries produces eggs (lots of them). They then harvest the eggs (take them out) and introduce them to your husband's sperm in a dish. They will then put back in some of the fertilized eggs and you hope one implants into the uterus. It is of course a lot more complicated than this with side effects, risks and expenses. If you are not feeling this is a good choice for you then you can check into having your tubes opened if possible or adoption. Best wishes!!!!!!!!!!
It depends on what your open 4! I my self am going a more natural way! I would suggest to go and buy the book "the Infertility Cure" she goes though several thing you can do to help! I have been doing lymph nod draining and massage therapy! and am planning on starting acupuncture as well!!! so we will see in the next few months!! There are so many that will tell you there is no way to unblock them! I would say go and look at the book it really helped me!!!
