Tell her to stay on the pill until you get married. Go off after the honeymoon. She doesn't want to get a wicked case of PMS or acne while planning the last minute details of the wedding.
She should start taking prenatal vitamins now so she can build up her folic acid and iron reserves.
Some people recommend charting your period for a few months after you get off the pill so you know what your real cycle is like. We waited three months after getting off the pill to try, but I wanted to be pregnant on my 1st anniversary and not a mommy.
"50% will be pregnant in 4 months
75% will be pregnant in 8 months
90% will be pregnant in 1 year
Plan on the process taking several months, relax, and enjoy.
If you and your partner have been trying for more than a year without success, it is a sign that there may be a problem. You should make an appointment with a gynecologist or an infertility specialist for a complete exam and testing. Many problems are easily treated once they are identified."
Like the other girl said everybody is different it could take a while or it could be like wam bam thank you maam she is knocked up! My friend and her fiance got off of the birth control and it took her 2 years to get prego! Then another friend got off a month later she was prego so who knows good luck though!
Everyone is different… Many people actually fall pregnant on the pill so there is no guarantee of exactly how long it will take. Generally speaking though (from many friends of mine who this has happened to) it is quite easy to fall pregnant the first month off the pill, but for the next 8 or so months after coming off it while your body is readjusting its a little harder… Hope this helped!

It's different for everyone. A doctor will say it takes about 3 months for the birth control to be completly out your system.
However, I went off my birth control at the end of Augest when I got married. I found out i was 5 wks pregnant in October!
